Rebecca Miller Sykes was appointed in 2013 as president of the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation, which makes grants to support education and the empowerment of women and girls.

Â鶹ԭ´´â€™s 137th Founders’ Day Celebration comes on the eve of Â鶹ԭ´´ University- Shreveport’s 50th Year Commemoration.

Â鶹ԭ´´ at Shreveport Division of Student Affairs, Department of Student Activities hosted the Black History Spring Convocation on February 8, in the Health and Physical Education Complex.

Goodwill recognizes that to move individuals out of poverty, to gain a living wage job, those individuals we serve need market-valued credentials.
